The goal of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness is to end homelessness in and around New Hampshire's capital city.
As an important step toward that goal, we recently built an emergency shelter to save the lives of people who have nowhere else to sleep during our frigid winter nights.
The building, which will shelter up to 40 people each night, is complete. We now need to furnish it with durable beds, mattresses and pillows. We have raised $5,000 from the community, and need an additional $15,000 before the weather becomes too dangerous to sleep outside.
Donations of any amount will bring us closer to our goal and are greatly appreciated.
