Bridging Teams are a gathering of under-resourced participants with middle-income mentors who are learning to become allies. Together we learn the differences between our "cultures" and current social climate. Our allies learn how to support these under-resourced individuals who are working hard to stabilize their lives. Over 12 months of meeting weekly, these Participants teach us what it is like to live in poverty in Ontario, and to honour their time and expertise, we give them gift cards for local stores.
