When COVID first hit our city my son, Valentino, and I along with my wife Lena were called to service to assist our heroes, the first responders, ultimately delivering over 5000 vegan meals over the course of two months. We delivered up until the day NYC managed to flatten its’ curve and our heroes in our local hospitals assured us that thankfully things began quieting down. They asked that we turn our focus towards helping families who now would be ravaged financially by this Pandemic. In these last few months we have seen the second wave decimate cities, families and so many businesses. This time we’d like to focus on feeding families impacted financially by this disease and deliver to them a Thanksgiving meal in the hopes that at the very least we Can alleviate some of their stress and pain. I know these are difficult times. Thankfully some of us have been blessed more than others to get thru this in varying degrees of difficulty. Let’s get together, those of us who can and let’s help make those less fortunate than we remember that we still can be thankful and that we do have each other.
Our goal is to feed as many individuals and families who are struggling to get by. We hope to start serving meals from Thanksgiving thru to Christmas. No one should go without a hot meal especially during the holidays. Please help us help those who need our help the most.
