Camp for Teenage Ghanaian Girls

In Ghana, teenage girls have some of the worst statistics in the country. There are high illiteracy rates, low school attendance records, large numbers of teenage pregnancy and fewer professional opportunities than those found by men. Linked in with these issues are instances of sexual abuse and exploitation. As such, there are many influences and obstacles that prevent teenage girls from realizing their full potential. At SFLIG we are passionate about providing learning experiences for these young women in that hope that they gain the knowledge and skills needed to uncover, discover and master the resources that are within each of them.

In facilitating this camp, SFLIG hopes to guide the girls in realising their full potential so that they may be leaders of change in their lives and the lives of others.
