UPDATE! 1/10/21- We had three scholarship students in session 1 of BOLD Elementary, so the new fundraising goal includes 10 additional scholarships for the upcoming session 2!

Did you know that a girl's confidence peaks at age 8, and by age 14, is typically 30% lower than her male classmates?
Or that a study in 2015 found that 80% of 10-year-old girls had already been on a diet?
Or that 7 out of 10 girls say they aren't good enough?
When girls feel they don't measure up, they are overwhelmed, frustrated, discouraged, and lonely. The social pressures may result in mental health issues, eating disorders, or other forms of self-harm.
And the problems persist into adulthood- we consistently see a lack of women in STEM fields, politics, high-level corporate roles, and other positions of power in society.
The BOLD Girls program seeks to BREAK this cycle.
In this amazing program, girls increase their self-esteem, learn positive mindset tools, develop a healthy appreciation for their bodies, and gain confidence in using their voices to create change.
My goal as a certified BOLD coach is to bring this amazing program to EVERY Title 1 elementary and middle school in Charlotte, NC- at NO COST to the students.
This huge goal would reach over 22,000 girls.
This fundraiser is the first step to reach that goal- $1490 will cover the first 10 sponsored students.
We may not be able to change the girls' circumstances, but we can change their possibilities. <3
A $149 sponsorship provides enrollment for one girl in the 7 week course, including a BOLD box of supplies, worksheets, and other treats.
A $44 sponsorship provides one BOLD box (including shipping and delivery fees).
A $15 sponsorship covers one week of class for one girl.
BOLDFriends who donate over $100 get a shoutout on social media and our website.
BOLDAdvocates who donate over $250 get a social media and website shoutout as well as a BOLD T-shirt.
BOLDHeroes who donate over $500 get a shoutout, a BOLD T-shirt, and placement of their business logo and/or website on our social media, website, and other BOLD marketing materials.
