Becky and Joe McGouirk Family

On Sunday October 1, 2017 at approximately 3:45pm, a friend, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a family member named Becky, had a massive bleed on her left side of her brain.  (bleeding stroke)  She was air-lifted to Emory in Atlanta, GA where they had to operate on Becky and remove half her skull.  She is in ICU and was taken off life support just yesterday.  (October 10, 2017) She is breathing on her own and her brain drains have been removed and her cranium fluids have not been pressurized since yesterday (this is a good thing).  She is now on oxygen and being watched very close.  She is still in the woods, very deep woods.  This is a real tragic incident that has occurred.  At this point, they are taking it half hour by half hour.  

Joe, her husband has been by her side the entire time thus meaning both of them have been out of work.  They have a sweet sweet sweet 6 year old little girl named Lexi, for which they are very blessed to have.  Lexi has not been able to see her mother because she is not old enough according to the hospital policies.  (which is understandable) .  

This family has a very long road ahead of them regardless of the path the Lord leads them on, they are in desperate need of financial assistance for the everyday basic needs.  The gas it takes Joe to get to and from the hospital between his 6 year old daughter and his wife in critical condition.  Basic needs for food and gas, not to mention what it takes to keep the families power on at home, the mortgage payment, car payment, insurance, and food in Lexi's belly.  AT this point, Joe could care less if he eats or not, but he still has to provide for his 6 year old daughter and being this sudden tragic incident has set this family with both working parents out of work and out of income.  

Any funds donated will be greatly appreciated and used to offset some of these expenses that normally Becky and Joe would work to pay for on their own, and the extra expenses that were not expected by having this tragic incident occur.  I have not even mentioned medical bills that will follow this tragedy.
