Becktold Bench at Fort Custer National Cemetery

Mary Lou Becktold went to be with her Lord on April 24, 2021. She had her family by her side which was always so important to her.

Mary Lou lived in the Hartford (Michigan) Community; she and her late husband Jack (John) operated the A & W restaurant, building the business from a small drive-in to a full restaurant with inside service. Mary Lou & Jack raised 2 sons -- Bryon Becktold who currently lives in Mattawan, Michigan and Blain Becktold who lives in Spring Lake, Michigan with his wife Becky.

When Jack passed in 2009, in lieu of flowers, family and friends donated funds to place a sitting bench in the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. The family is offering the opportunity to build another bench -- and commemorate Mary Lou's life. Your contribution will provide a place for visitors to rest when visiting the cemetery.
