Beckham’s Bravery

Hey everyone, my name is Mackenzie and I am the aunt of a very special little boy whose name is Beckham! He has been diagnosed with a very rare disease that has no cure and I want to take a little stress off his amazing parents from all the hospital bills and 24 hour care they have provided.

To give you a little information on what Beckham was diagnosed with Gaucher Disease Type 2 on September 27, 2023.

Gaucher Disease (pronounced go-shay) is an inherited lysosomal storage disorder (LSD), a type of disorder that causes fatty substances to build up in your bone marrow, liver, spleen, and brain. The sphingolipids weaken bones and enlarge your organs, so they can’t work as they should. There’s no cure for Gaucher Disease, but treatments can help relieve symptoms and greatly improve the quality of life.

If you are willing and able to help, I would love to help take a little pressure and stress of their family so they can focus on the care of their son and not their bills. Anything helps and it is so appreciated!
