Beckam’s Great Summer Adventure

Greetings! My name is Teresa and I have been best friends with Elise (the mom to Beckam) for over 30 years. Elise gave me her blessing to ask for help but not at the expense of Beckam’s feelings to not feel like a show. If you have questions beyond what I share PLEASE message me. Elise is an AMAZING single mom to two very cool kids. One of them, Beckam (14), has Merosin Deficient Congenital Muscular Dystrophy, a rare and highly severe type of muscular dystrophy. We’ve always known the prognosis for him. Most children affected by Merosin Deficient CMD do not survive into adolescence. Elise has already been told to start preparing for hospice and talking about Beckam’s final wishes by his doctors. Okay, let’s get to the good part. Beckam is a BRILLIANT, hilarious, amazing dude. He LOVES gaming. He would love to go to Super Nintendo World opening in 2025 in Orlando but I don’t know if he will be able to. There is a location in California though. What am I asking from you? To donate $5, $10, $20. Whatever amount you’d like honestly. And if you can’t donate PLEASE SHARE so that others can see this and hopefully donate. Elise is talking about going into debt to fund a really good summer trip for Beckam because this could be our last good summer with him so she wants to make it count. I refuse to let that happen. She is already going to have to pay for his end of life care and bury her child. That should be enough for any mom to handle. So I put my heart out there to you to help Elise give Beckam an amazing summer. Any money raised is going to transportation, food, hotel, and snow globes (Beckam’s favorite souvenir to collect). If we raise more we will make a bigger, better trip to see more than just California: anywhere Beckam can think of that he has always wanted to go while he has the chance to see it.
