<div>We started this venture last year with a goal ($3,315 CAD) to purchase 10 Djembes and 10 Guitars for our community music programs.

<div>With the support of so many, we have reached 40% ($1,504 CAD) of our initial goal, and purchased 7 Djembes. Today Aston arrived with the new drums and was able to create a circle with 12 children, each playing their own drum. This is only the beginning and would not have been possible if it were not for the support from all of YOU!!!!

For many children in Jamaica, this dream includes the sense of accomplishment that comes from learning to play a musical instrument and the empowering joy of creative expression.

<div>We are aspiring to raise 2,200 Euros to purchase 10 acoustic guitars and 10 djembes for a Children’s Community Music Programme that is currently in operation on First Street in Trench town.

<div>This programme is an initiative of the Ellis brothers - Blakka Ellis and Aston Ellis, through their non-profit organization, the Becca Foundation. Accomplished professionals in the cultural and creative industry, the Ellis brothers are also nephews of pioneering Jamaican musical icon the legendary Alton Ellis. BECCA Foundation is dedicated to offering music lessons to children in the Trench Town community free of cost, as a way of providing a creative outlet, facilitating positive social interaction, and enabling a path to a brighter future. Through our partnership with 10.000LIONS, when you donate towards our fundraiser, you will also get exclusive music that is ONLY available to the people who choose to lend a helping hand to these amazing children!
