Please help me cover my medication

I'm asking humbly for any help in keeping afloat. Due to a botched back surgery I am now on permanent disability. During one srgury an artery was severed and I almost lost my life. Now I find myself with no health insurance. My medical expenses will be approximately $6000 to cover medications and Dr visits. I am unable to receive Medicare till August of 2015 due to SSI complication (the 6 month waiting period). I am humbled by any help you might be able to provide. As I've been told many times by lawyers I have no case or I have a case for malpractice but it will cost too much to persue so the doctor walks and I lye on my couch daily wondering how I'll get my prescriptions filled each month. I was a very active Father of two.  No more Concerts, street hockey, ice skating with them (something I enjoyed very much), because my entire back is now reiforced with rods and screws I can't persue the things I have enjoyed in life... bicycling, motorcyling, swimming, running... you get the point.If your a stranger, long lost friends, family etc. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can pass this to friends, business associates or anyone else they may be able to help of be extremely grateful. I thank you all for past donations and at this point I am almost out of funds. My next Dr's visit is in a few days which I must pay upfront as well as several prescriptions. The prescriptions alone total over $1000.00 a month.
