Help hairstylists affected by COVID-19

With salons and barbershops, along with the film and television industry, shut down across the country, thousands of hair and makeup artists are out of work. Many of these men and women are independent contractors that rent salon spaces with a high overhead that they are having to let go. Many of these beauty professionals are uninsured, don’t have pensions or employment protection. On average most hair stylists are living virtually paycheck to paycheck. 

These professionals are the ones that dedicate their days listening and caring for us sometimes emotionally and always with the hopes of making us feel more beautiful. These are our hair stylists, our makeup artists, the ones we turn to on the most important days of our lives like weddings or before a big meeting or photo shoot. Our nail techs and esthetician’s.. the girl or guy that gave our kid their first haircut with such care. 

Thousands of beauty professionals are out of work. Many wondering how they will put food on the table. 

With the goal of $1,000,000. I hope to provide at least 1000 stylists and beauty industry professionals with $1000 each.
