<div><b>Viktoria Bolonina</b> - An amazing daughter, sister, wife, friend, singing idol, teacher, talented photographer and most recently, a new mum to her beautiful 1yo baby girl, Milana.

<div><span>Being a familiar face in the public domain, you may also remember her starring on The Voice, Christmas Carols in Melbourne and Carols in the Domain, and most recently being awarded Citizen of the Year in her community group.
 </span>

<div><span>On the 12th May 2022, Viktoria was given the news that the orange-sized growth on her brain was a Grade 4 Astrocytoma (also known as Glioblastoma or GBM) - the most malignant and aggressive type of brain tumour. 
</span>

<div><span>Viktoria had been experiencing headaches for the last couple of years, and more recently, fatigue and brain fog. These symptoms were thought to just be exhaustion from work, pregnancy and adjustment to motherhood. </span>

<div><span>The most recent development of seizures prompted an MRI that revealed Stage 4 Brain Cancer, so she was booked for emergency surgery to remove the tumour and specialist appointments addressing the next 12 months+ of treatment; While the surgery to remove the largest mass of the tumour went well, she now faces  ~12 months of chemotherapy and radiation to treat the remaining cancer cells. </span>

<div><span>Needless to say, Viktoria has a long road ahead. Being self-employed as a singing teacher, she will no longer to be able to continue this work during her treatment and her husband Sahand will need to juggle work while also focusing energy to care for Viktoria, their baby daughter Milana, and everyday expenses. </span>

<div><span>We’re raising funds to support out-of-pocket costs over the course of the treatment and to help reduce financial stress which will in turn, help Viktoria focus on what is most important – fighting this, returning to health, and being present with her family. </span>
