Beaus Colic vet visit

Hello my name is Sam. Many may know Beau as he’s touched the hearts of many ppl adult and child alike. For those who don’t this is him:

He is a 28 year old 100% good boy. He’s been with my family since birth. He’s done long trail rides, horses shows, parades, been a teacher to all ages from 2 years old to adults in their 70’s. He’s been the heart of my family and my heart horse personally.

A few days ago we called the vet as he wasn’t acting normal. Several hours and several test later we found he has sand colic. Due to his age and weak state the vets wanted to make sure he is strong enough to start treatment and they did yesterday. He is showing some small positive signs but not enough to clear to come home safely. We estimate he will be in hospital for 24-48 more hours.

with that being said this past 2 day trip has already put up in the $5000 mark with another $1500 in treatment being given today. And a want to keep him in a little longer to monitor.

I have hit what I can afford on to give to my precious boy so I am asking for help from my community to try to keep him in for his treatment a little longer. The vets are feeling positive he can come out of this but it takes the funds to keep treating.
