Beats for Jace

OurBACKGROUND OF JACE:
Jace was born with a heart condition called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. What this means is he was born without the left side of his heart. This condition has required alot of interventions. His first intervention was right after birth where he was taken from us right away and brought into surgery. His next intervention was his first open heart surgery at 3 days old and then again at 6 months old he had another open heart surgery. He has also had countless Cath lab procedures done. Even through all of this he managed to make it to his first birthday. Until then he was only given a 50% survival rate. On August 15th 2017 jace went into cardiac arrest while bringing him into the emergancy room. I his mother had to pull over and start cpr and call for help. Luckfuly help was fast and close by. He was then rushed to st cloud emergancy room where they worked tirelessly to keep jace alive. This involved 4 rounds of CPR. They where able to stabalize him enough to get to the Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis. This is where we found out Jace would need a new heart. While at Children's he then needed 2 more rounds of CPR. This would total to be 7 rounds of CPR. Luckfuly he walked out of it with very little to no brain damage. We where at Children's for 2 weeks and then where transported to Mayo in Rochester where he was then put on life support to wait for his new heart. There have been many ups and downs while we have been at Mayo. On January 27th we got the call for a heart that would save Jace. That surgery went well but 3 weeks later his large intestine died and broke open. He then needed an emergancy surgery to remove it. He was given only a 30% chance to servive it. He still beat the odds, he then received a tracheotomy in March of 2018. After his heart transplant and the emergency abdominal surgery jaces kidneys didn't recover. So in November of 2018 i, his mother, was able to give him one of mine. Things started to get better but come March 2019 jace has been diagnosed with cancer and is still putting forth a fight for his life. The cancer seems to be getting better but now on October 17, 2019 Jace has been diagnosed with heart rejection. Doctors are working hard to stop the rejection but he could become very sick very fast. The next week is going to be very crucial. At only 3 years old he has over come so much and still remains smiling, he is a true super hero!! Our hopes for raising money are to use it for medical bills, transpiration to appointments and to keep( his mother and father and sister) close to him through all of this. Jace is continuing to fight and beat all the odds. Thank you all for your love and support!
