Hi, my name is Brianna Delgado, and my mother, Beatriz, was recently in a life-threatening car crash on September 15th. My mom lives in Florida, has been a registered nurse for many years, and she is easily the hardest working person I know. She’s also the type of person that would drop what they are doing to help someone out. She has a husband, three kids (me and my two little brothers), and is a fun, caring, and loving woman to each and everyone of us. I wouldn’t know what I would do without her.
The accident happened in Central Florida on the way to her job to a local hospital at around 6:00 a.m. While she was driving her daily commute to work, she got into the near-death car accident with another vehicle (luckily the there was no harm to the people in it). The crash completely totaled her vehicle, and the fire that stemmed from it completely engulfed her car. As you can see from the photos; the aftermath was truly terrible (her car was blue). We continuously thank the Lord for giving her the strength to crawl out of the car before the flame spread, because if she didn’t get out right away she would’ve died. It’s also a miracle because she did this with both legs and eight ribs broken. After the ambulance rushed her to the hospital, they diagnosed her with both tibias and fibulas fractured (both shins), a fractured knee, eight broken ribs (any simple movements such as breathing cause excruciating pain), a punctured liver, and a very deep-to-the-bone cut into her chin. With all the physical damage done, the surgery completed on her legs, the physical therapy, and the time she will miss from work; this life-changing event will cost her and her family tens of thousands of dollars. Her loving husband, Alex, is going to pick up as many jobs as he can, however we could use as much help as possible. We appreciate any donations/prayers - small or large - because there are going to be a lot of bills that need to be paid.
With that all being said, this was a very traumatic experience for her and our family. I was scared that I would lose my mom, and I’m so thankful that she is alive. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and we appreciate any and all support. Please keep her in your prayers.
