Beating Lyme Disease

TLDR: I've had Lyme Disease for 5 years and my current treatment isn't working. I need advanced treatment before the damage becomes permanent. The 30k will help me pay medical costs as my insurance company will not cover treatment. If you can't donate, I understand. Hi Friends :)
Writing this was hard, but I care more about beating this disease then letting my pride keep me paralyzed and sick.
I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease 5 years ago and have been getting worse despite treatment.
It started in Nashville, TN after removing a tick embedded in my back. A woke up with a rash and felt sick. A week later I couldn't get out of bed.
After trying to tough it out for 6 months, I realized things weren't going to get better. I started going to doctors looking for answers and they all told me something different (Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Depression, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Cancer (yes, I was told I had brain cancer), IBS, blah blah blah). All of the misdiagnosis's only confirmed that no one knew what was going on with me.
As a last ditch effort, a friend recommended I check out a Lyme Literate Doctor. After a bunch of blood work and DNA testing, I was diagnosed with Lyme and Babesia (a tiny parasite that infects your red blood cells - similar to malaria).
I've tried more conservative Lyme Disease treatment, but it's not helping. A recent MRI and blood test showed some discouraging progression of the disease.
I live in constant pain that I hide from friends and family because I don't want to be the guy that isn't the positive one, but I'm not letting this push me around anymore.
After hours of research and medical guidance, I'm going to start a more aggressive treatment. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover the treatment.
This fight has taught me empathy and I know everyone has their own battle they are facing. If you can't donate, I understand :) Sharing this page, praying, or sending your thoughts are equally appreciated.
