Covid-19 has had a huge impact on many charities across the world, including those local charities who help us support children and their families through this difficult time and beyond.

We are fundraising for 2 amazing local Essex charities - SNAP Charity and ADHD Support. Please read below to find out more about what each charity does.

SNAP Charity:  Special Needs And Parents - is an Essex charity that helps families with children and young people aged 0-25 who have any special need or disability. SNAP offers a wide range of services and activities to meet the needs of its families:
* Helpline and Face to Face Parent Support

* Online Directory and Information Network
* Counselling, Benefit and Educational Advice
* Library of Specialist Books and DVD’s
* Parent and Pre-School Children Sessions
* After-School and Holiday Sessions for Children and Young People

ADHD Support: A Chelmsford based charity with a primary aim of providing information, support and services to those with ADHD and its many associated and co-existing conditions.  They are primarily run by volunteers who have a personal connection with these conditions. Their work is with those who have or are in the process of obtaining a diagnosis of ADHD, their families, parents/guardians, and professionals, to help find and provide better ways to help cope with the day to day struggles.
