Bean the Boston

Donation protected
Today I rescued a 1 pound hydro Boston we named Dodge. He has a long road ahead of him. He will be seen by many specialists and need physical therapy. I loom forward to making him grow big and strong.

On July 6th I rescued a pregnant Boston terrier named Olive. She was pregnant with 4 pups. On Aug 13th she delivered 1 healthy girl, the rest were stuck. She had an emergency C-section and all the pups passed away except Bean. He was the special one.

Bean was born with Hydrocephalus, which is water on the brain.  When he was 3 days old I took over caring for him round the clock. I got him through pneumonia, gave him steroid injections, daily meds, breathing treatments, syringe fed him, unclogged his nose and throat after each meal, burped him even revived him twice. I vowed to stop at nothing.

He left this earth on 10/26. Near the end, he started having seizures, as he grew the water in his brain forced pressure build-up, and began the downward spiral. He was only 1 pound when he passed at the age of 10 weeks.

His life from birth was viewed daily on Tic Toc and was loved by thousands and thousands of people. And to all those people, he truly loved them back.

Now he is gone and I have the reality of all the vet bills of his short life here. I have over $4000 in medical debt I am left with. Many have asked how they can help and this is the best way.

The kindness of strangers has kept me going through the love and the support and I can not thank everyone enough. Words will never express my gratitude through this whole journey. Hugs to you my friends. Thank you for loving Bean.
