First, an enormous thank you to everyone who has contributed to this fund thus far. The outpouring of support for the Beacon Hill International community is nothing short of heroic-- together we have raised over $10,000! Your generous contributions have provided close to $4000 in essential grocery gift cards to families and is supporting families with rent and bill assistance for the month of May.
When we first launched this campaign six weeks ago, we were raising money to support a few dozen families impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Unfortunately, the need in our community has grown exponentially in the last several weeks. We know that the need will continue to grow through the end of the school year and summer so will continue to raise funds for our families through this campaign. We are working hand in hand with the PTA and BHIS staff and administration to meet the urgent needs of as many families in our community as possible. Thank you so much for your support and we miss you all so much!

Greetings Beacon Hill International School Family and Friends-
Our community is facing an unprecedented crisis with the impacts of COVID-19. In collaboration with BHIS staff, the parents and teachers of the PTA are fundraising to help provide critical resources to Beacon Hill International School families who are impacted by this public health crisis and the resulting school closures. We are raising money to support families around urgent basic needs including food, supplies, and bills. Many families in our community are un/underemployed as a result of the COVID-19 crisis and need our support.
This fund will be the primary fundraising vehicle for the PTA during this crisis and will supplement what funds the school is able to raise through Right Now Needs funds. The purpose of this fundraiser is to create a more flexible fund to provide a coordinated response to Beacon Hill International School families in need. Donations will go directly to families and are not tax-deductible.
Thank you for the incredible outpouring of support for our teachers, students and families during this difficult time. We appreciate you and know that we will get through this together.
