Be The Queen of Your Own Castle
HUGE thank you to everyone who attended the quiz and donated! We smashed our target and raised and amazing £5,870!
We are in the process of closing out and transferring cash to Rach’s family and to Maggie’s (after various fees etc.) so we have disabled donations to our GoFundMe BUT you can still donate on the family’s page here https://gofund.me/3dbeea6b
Thank you!
❤️❤️❤️

In 2019 we had a friendly, chatty (and a bit crazy) Rachel join our Tesco Bank team. Since then she has won us over with her infectious laugh, sense of humour and caring heart.
Rachel was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer in November 2020 at aged 32. Since then her aggressive treatment has begun but unfortunately Rachel received the sad news that her cancer has spread. Rachel’s words below:
Rachels Story
I began to get myself organised for the results from the Multi Disciplinary Team Meeting (MDT).
The lesions on my lungs are cancerous.
This is classed as secondary cancer.
My new staging is 4B.
My treatment plan has changed.
The lifetime expectancy of someone facing this can range between 12-17 months...
But I’m ready to fight & explore any alternative treatments that are out there!
Rachel is sharing her journey through her Facebook pages:

So that is what we plan to do! We will be holding lots of events to raise money to help Rach.
Rach has already helped raised over £10K for Maggie’s from previous fundraising. Any monies raised will be to help fund alternative therapies which she may be eligible for and to treat her two very special wee boys Lewis & Jude.
Please help us raise all we can for this amazing friend of ours!
