Be the Change 2021 Scholarship, Laramie WY

2021 will be the 3rd year the scholarship will exist in Albany County. The scholarship was initially conceived in 2018 after the March for Our Lives protest. Lindsay Stoffers presented the idea of the scholarship to the Albany County Democrats Central Committee and started fundraising to obtain money for the fund that year.
The scholarship committee (Randy Wall, Bern Hinckley, Jennifer Wiseman, Ali Grossman, Denise Greller, Lindsay Stoffers and Jacqueline Grimes) work each year to maintain funding to continue to provide this scholarship to Albany County seniors.
The scholarship was established under the belief and understanding that young adults and youth are our future and their voices deserve to be heard. The scholarship exists due to donations from the community (people like YOU) and fundraising events throughout the year.

Albany County Democrats meet the second Monday of every month at 6pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Laramie, located at 1402 Gibbon Street.
