<div>Shalom friends,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Yehoshua Frank, and I recently moved with my family from Yerushalayim to the Hudson Valley. I grew up surrounded by the flavors of Israeli kitchens — hummus warm from the pot, falafel straight from the fryer, Shabbat dips passed around a family table.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Now I want to share that spirit here in Newburgh by opening Sababa Place, powered by GF Kitchen — the Hudson Valley’s first kosher dairy café and hummus bar.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✨ Why Now? Why Here?

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Newburgh has a growing Jewish community, but there are no kosher food options nearby. Families travel far to find what should be local: authentic food that feels like home. At the same time, everyone — Jewish and not — loves hummus, falafel, and a good café to sit, relax, and connect.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We’re starting in the month of Elul, a time of reflection and renewal before the High Holidays. In times like these, we believe it’s important to proudly celebrate our Jewishness — not quietly, but with light, flavor, and community. Sababa Place will be exactly that: a hub for joy, culture, and connection.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> What We’re Creating

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hummus &amp; Falafel Bar – authentic Israeli flavors, fresh and filling

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Build-Your-Own Salads &amp; Shabbat Dips – ready for your family table

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Coffee &amp; Café Space – Yerushalmi-style dairy café with bourekas, shakshuka, pastries, and spiced coffee

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Community Hub – a gathering space for Jewish learning nights, Hebrew conversation circles, music, and good food

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Farmers Market Stall – weekly sales of hummus, pita, and dips across the Hudson Valley

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Our Commitment to Kosher

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Sababa Place will be a kosher dairy kitchen. That means no meat, only dairy, fish, and vegetarian dishes — simple, authentic, and in the spirit of Jerusalem cafés. With your support, we’ll also secure official kosher certification (teudat kasherut), making this the first certified kosher café in Newburgh.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Our Goal: $50,000

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your support will help us cover:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Kitchen equipment &amp; tools

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rent &amp; initial renovations

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Kosher certification costs

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Initial inventory of ingredients &amp; packaging

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Furniture &amp; café setup

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Marketing &amp; launch event

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Why It Matters

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This project is bigger than food. It’s about:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Giving Newburgh its first kosher-certified café

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Providing a welcoming hub for Jewish families and friends

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Sharing healthy, authentic Israeli flavors with the whole Hudson Valley

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Creating local jobs and community opportunities

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> How You Can Help

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every donation brings us closer. Whether you give $1, $18 (chai, “life”), or more, your gift is building something lasting.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With your help, we’ll open Sababa Place this year — a space where food, culture, and community come together.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Toda raba &amp; thank you,

</div>
