<div>This is Axel’s mom, Sasha. As most people know, we were on a trip in Florida when Axel got sick and had to go to ER, which turned into our worst nightmare; a Leukemia diagnosis at 2 years old. We were in Saint Petersburg, Florida for one month to get his first round of chemo before he was stable enough to return home to Kentucky on May 13th. Unfortunately, we had to get a temporary rental in Northern Kentucky 3 1/2 hours from our permanent home in Eastern Kentucky to be close to Axel’s oncology treatment team at Cincinnati Children’s for the next 2 years. Then the last year of treatment (year 3) we are expected to return to our home in Eastern Kentucky.  He will be getting 3 years in total of chemotherapy at Cincinnati Chidlrens.

<div>We are a family of first responders; me a Registered Nurse and his dad A Kentucky State Trooper. Our jobs allow us to help others in the community, but this situation has put us in the position of being on the other side of needing help.

<div>Proceeds will be used for Axel’s medical expenses and for expenses in Northern Kentucky so we will be able to continue to stay close to his treatment team to keep him safe and help him heal.

<div>As always, if you cannot donate prayers are more than enough. ❤️ I have decided to call his supports and cause Angels for Axel, because the Lord is with him, angels are watching over him in heaven, and all of you have been his earthside angels by supporting him and us on this long and difficult journey.
