When it rains, it pours! And it's a flood right now for Heidi Grasnik Vierheller, daughter of our dear friend, Ann Rinella Grasnik, former Solon teacher. For the last 3 years, Heidi has been the warrior in her son's life as he has undergone multiple surgeries on his hand. But now, it's Heidi who needs her warrior friends and family to help her through her upcoming double mastectomy surgery. Just before Thanksgiving, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
The treatment and surgery expenses, added to the high deductibles she must pay for her surgery, as well as the cost of post-surgery breast reconstruction and has put even more burden on this beautiful wife and mom. People have asked how they can help. For now, to alleviate some of the financial burden, we have set up this account, to which you may choose to donate and support Heidi. Right now, Heidi and her husband, Tim Vierheller, need to focus on her health and getting well, as well as giving their son, Landon, the Christmas this young 3 year old deserves,
