Carlos Julian Sanchez - Memorial

Hello. I am trying to help my very close friend Jason raise money for his father Carlos Sanchez's Memorial. The funeral expenses that Jason endured, along with the pain he is going through for a second time, is taking a mounting toll on him, and his current financial strain is more than overwhelming.  He is struggling emotionally and financially.  So, I have decided to set up this GoFundMe page with the hopes of reaching out to those with hearts of empathy to make a donation to help Jason  with the funeral expenses for his dad.  Any amount great or small will be deeply appreciated.


As of  October 2014, Carlos was admitted into hospice care with expectations of not making it through the holidays. A year and a half later, the hospice nurses were pleasantly surprised to find that not only was Carlos still alive, but he was getting stronger. Carlos continued on this path of progress until about a month ago, when he decided to help a woman who was down on her luck. He allowed his "friend", who claimed to have medical background, into his home, as a volunteer care-giver. Little did he expect, this "friend" was a Manipulator. She consumed his food, took his meds, and smoked his medical herb. As time went by, she over medicated him, relocated his hospital bed into the living room, and took over his bedroom. She eventually  barricaded his house shut and claimed to have a power of attorney, which stated that his sons could not transport their dad, and that she was legally allowed to continue living in his house.  Island Hospice Care assisted Jason in relocating his dad and involved the police to remove this woman from his property.  Jason had high  hopes, believing his dad would pull through once he got Carlos to his home where he was  safe. Carlos really started to show progress the first couple of days. Then,  5 days after moving in with Jason, his dad told him he loved him, he was proud of him and his brother, exhaled, and slipped peacefully away into heaven.
