BCM Stars was established in 1988 and is a non-profit organisation. The troupe is currently managed by a team of volunteers and relies heavily on fundraising to help provide equipment and uniforms for a team of 40 boys and girls with ages ranging from 3 to 43.

BCM compete nationally in three majorette disciplines these are Military Freestyle, Pom and Dance Twirl, each discipline has its own uniform and equipment requirement and without these elements, BCM would be unable to compete.

In addition to the funds required for equipment and uniforms, the troupe also has additional running costs such as training hall hire and multiple insurance requirements.

To help BCM with these costs for 2025 some of the dancer's parents and family have decided to take on a few sponsored walks with the first being a 15-mile circular walk known as the Sheffield Round Walk. The walk is planned to take place the weekend of the 8th of March and we would be grateful for any donation no matter how big or small.
