Please Help a Friend of Mine
Cori, and her husband Andy, have five children. Ten years ago, their oldest, Jena, was born with Cystic Fibrosis. Until last year, she had been living a pretty "normal" life.
Last year, Jena spent over 150 days in the hospital with a bowel obstruction. She ended up with an ostomy bag (hopefully it will be able to be reversed one day). Since that time, her liver has been deteriorating. She was at Children's Hospital on her 10th birthday in hopes that a liver would become available. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
UPDATE: .... Jena's father is a liver match. They both had surgery a couple of weeks ago and things are going well. Jena is still in the hospital and hopes to be home in a couple of weeks.
I hope that you can help support a friend of mine.
Between transportation expenses, medical expenses, and special dietary needs, they are financially strapped.
