Michelle's Cancer Treatment Fund

We all have those people in our lives that inspire us to work harder and be better. Our friend Michelle Russell is that kind of person. She is a wife, mother, and Special Education teacher. She has spent many years of her life teaching her own children and her students to love learning and work hard.
In May 2017 Michelle had made personal health goals to work on during the summer. She was excited and motivated to reach her weight loss goals. As she lost weight she started to notice a lump in her right breast.  At the beginning of the school year she went in and had a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy.  They found a little spot of ductal carcinoma In situ (DCIS.)  As they did more testing they found that she has extensive amounts of invasive ductal cancer (IDC) widespread throughout her right breast.
In October 2017 she had a mastectomy and has since completed her first round of chemotherapy. Around this same time her father-in-law and brother-in-law have also started to have health struggles. We all know that sometimes in life when it rains it pours.  While she has had ups and downs with her first round of chemotherapy and learning about the struggles her in-laws are having Michelle has been handling this battle with grace and a positive attitude.
We love our Michelle and want help her and her family out in any way that we can. Please consider donating to this wonderful wife, mother, and Special Education Teacher this Holiday season.
