Glaze Spectrum: A Digital Library

Would you like to create your own ceramic glazes in a spectrum of colours? Whether you're a student, artist, or potter, this will be your ultimate resource.
In 2016 I was commissioned by Aberdeen Art Gallery to create an original installation for their reopening.
Using traditional ingredients of minerals, clays and metal oxides, I've created almost 500 ceramic test tiles covering the full spectrum of colour.
Through doing this for the past 2 years, I've collected a vast amount of data that I'd like to share with the wider world - and that's where your donations will come in!
Collaborating with creative agency Design and Code, my installation will transform into an interactive website, 'The Glaze Spectrum: A Digital Library', where anyone can access my data and glaze recipes.
I simply use 8 metal oxides to create a vast spectrum of colours, so this resource will be an invaluable tool for learning about the foundations of ceramic glazes. For the more advanced users, it's a place to compare glaze features such as colours and certain firings.
Thanks to Grays School of Art for the use of the ceramics workshop, glaze lab and kilns. And thanks to Grays students for their input on the project.
