The worst fear of every professional performer is that they might injure themselves to the point of not being able to perform. Whether it's for life or even a few weeks, psychical injury is the bane of every performers exsistance. It's something we all silently pray for at night "Please, don't let me break my wrist, throw my back out, slip and fall, etc ... because if we can't stand on our own two feet, we starve. In 9 years of performing I have been extremely lucky and extremely cautious. I would love to go Sky Diving and Rock Climbing and many other risk taking adventures, but I don't because one wrong move could end my career forever.

But all the wishing in the world didn't stop me from becoming completely immobilized with a severe knee injury last weekend.

While acting during a "live horror event" I slipped, missed my mark and totally bungled a prat fall. The fall was gnarly enough that I wound up with what the doctor described as the worst hematoma he had ever seen in 20 years of working in the ER. I am unable to bend my leg or have any normal mobility. I'm told, in the end, the injury will heal with no complications but I won't be back to dancing, acting or live performance of any kind for several months.

I am blessed that so many of my friends and loved ones reached out to me and offered the help of a meal or a ride or a shoulder to cry on ... but the fact remains, I am injured and cannot work. Hopefully life will go back to normal within a month or so, but my lack of savings means I am hungry now.

Without help I will not be able to feed myself, pay my utilities, cell phone bill, rent and other house hold items (Toliet paper, cat food, etc) while I recover from my injury.

So, in the most humble and apologetic way possible, I am asking for your assistance.

IF you can help and IF you are so inclined a donation of any kind will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
