Family & Friends.... ***long post alert!***
What I'm going to share has been held close to our hearts for several years now, and only a handful of people have known about this as we have tried to find our way on a pretty rough road.
One of our granddaughters is in a battle for her life and needs specialized treatment that is offered at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver. We have been waiting a LONG time for this phone call and that confirmation has finally come! Hallelujah!!! Tasha and Grace are heading to Children’s on Sunday, April 29th.
We were hoping that she would be taken as an inpatient but there was not a bed available for her. She will be at Children's for a minimum of 3 months and has to have a parent participating and supporting her for the duration.
This journey has been very, very difficult, emotionally exhausting and gut wrenching as we have watched one of our grands struggling and watching our daughter and family trying to do everything they can to help her.
We are SO thankful for this opportunity and we are PRAYING that this is going to be the turnaround for her....
Tasha is taking a medical leave from work so she can be there full time. She will receive only a portion of her income, which she is thankful for. But, this is going to put the family in a position of financial burden and the stress of the extra expenses of living in Vancouver for 3+ months and continuing to maintain their home on the Island are pretty overwhelming for them.
Tasha is an amazing Momma and what a blessing it would be for her to be able to be there for her daughter and not worry about finances. If you know Tasha, you know she has a huge , giving heart and I’m sure she has touched your life in one way or another. ♥️
She needs our help now.... how can we help?
Please pray ..... pray for healing, pray for restoration, pray for health, pray for physical strength and a healthy mind. Pray for Tasha and Rob, for Gary and Leanne and the siblings. Pray for Reuben who is going to miss his Mom terribly.
