Flood affected Kerala needs support

Kerala, a tiny state in India, is facing its worst flood in 100 years.  Many dams are opened, over 350 lives lost and around  700,000 people are in numerous relief camps (information collected from media).

We request all our friends and families to join our fundraising appeal and donate generously.  We have given away our house in Kerala to people in need, for now.  We are also part of a few group fund raising activities. 

With this appeal, We want to raise at least $5000 asap to assist up to 5 of the most poor and deserving families.  Our team, who is already helping us in relief activities, back in Kerala  will locate the most needy families.   Fund disbursement details, including the details of the beneficiaries,  will be shared with the contributors at the end of this appeal.

We will match up to $1000 of the contribution from you.  So every little bit counts.
