A friend in need.

Our friend Chris gave us quite a scare.  On Friday, September 28th, he was admitted to the Rocky View hospital after he visited the Sheldon Chumir clinic with flu-like symptoms. He was subsequently diagnosed with a flesh-eating bacterial infection, and underwent emergency surgery to remove the affected tissue from his neck and chest.  He spent the next 10 days in a medically induced coma fighting for his life.   He battled hard, and the medical staff were eventually able to eradicate the bacteria from his system.  The treatments took quite a toll on Chris’s body, and although he is now at home, he has a long road ahead of him to get back to 100%. 


We have started this go fund me to help pay for his health insurance, rehab treatments, and to give Chris some peace of mind until he is healthy enough to work again.  Anything you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated.
