DR Drive by fellow employees.

Life in the Dominican Republic is challenging.  Fortunately, ,many of the people who live and work are provided a lunch by their employee.  Many of the mothers will not eat their company provided lunch and hide it to bring home to their families.  They will sometimes faint from lack of food.  So the company I work for now gives them 2 lunches.  You can see below that their homes are without running water and electricity.  Life is a struggle for even the bare necessities. 

Just $2-5 dollars from each of my co-workers and friends can buy lots of personal necessities like shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap, etc.  We will buy it here in the US and deliver it on the next company trip on April 25, 2018.  This trip will have 4 fellow employees from the US working to build a new home in the DR.  

Our lives are blessed in the US with an overabundance luxuries but we have so little time to give back.  This is an easy way to be a part of our world community.

My goal is to make a trip back and next time bring nearly new clothes and shoes.
