Mission Trip to Ghana

What (Background Story):
Before my grandfather passed away in 2015, he left his mark on the continent of Africa and started a church in Accra, Ghana, Believers Bible Christian Church Missions Outreach. The church has multiple sites in Ghana as well as an academy with over 600 students. Since the church was established, none of my family members have witnessed the legacy my grandfather has left in Ghana. Over the summer, I plan to visit the country and experience all that has been established.
Why:
My strong passion for ministry was birthed after the passing of my grandfather. The seeds he planted in my life, during his lifetime, has caused me to want to grow more in my faith and to do all that I can to help continue his legacy. Since then, doing ministry no longer feels like a chore or that I'm going through the motions. I've realized that it's more a part of the gifts and calling that God has for my life. Having the opportunity to witness what my grandfather started in Ghana means so much more to me than a random trip overseas. This experience will give me the chance see what is already established and to see how I can add to it and multiply.
How you can help:
I'm asking for generous donations to help with the cost of airfare, living expenses and the medical shots needed before departure.
My encouragement/prayer:
My prayer is not only that you invest in this opportunity for me to go on the trip but that you are also investing in God’s kingdom and what he’s doing on the continent of Africa. Our purpose as the body of Christ and the church goes far beyond what we do inside a building. It’s about outreach and showing others the love of Christ.
