Helene Brizak (House Fire Fund)

On Friday June 13th, Helene's house was struck by lightning and caught fire. It was actually the main gas line on the side of the house that was struck. The utility company was unable to find the main shut off to the gas line which caused the fire to burn for over 3 hours! In addition to the fire damage, the house was essentially flooded because of all the water used to keep the house from burning to the ground.
The end result is Helene, her husband Dennis and dog Odie are living in a trailer in their driveway. The clean up and rebuilding process is under way but they will be in this temporary living situation for the remainder of 2014.We wanted to put something together for friends to show their support and make donations. The funds will go towards whatever they want to use it for. Just having the option of dining out over the next 6 months would be a tremendous luxury given the situation.
American Olean will match donations up to $1,000. Anyone that chooses to donate will be acknowledged so that the Helene knows who you are.
