I am Maja Aleksikj and I am starting this campaign in order to help myself stand on my feet again.
On July 9-th, as a passenger on a motorcycle, I suffered severe injuries on both of my legs in a car accident. After several surgeries, on both of my legs I am now at home, I can barely move them, and I cannot stand or walk at all.
My left leg was rescued with surgery, but my right leg is still critical because the wound is still big and deep, it needs intensive medical care, and probably another surgery.
I have been lying in bed for almost 2 month in a row. According to the doctors I wont be able to stand up on my own for at least 3 more months. I can't do anything by myself and i need to have someone constantly looking after me at any time. In order to take care of me my mother quit her job and she never leaves my side. However the medical expenses are huge and sadly we don’t have the necessary funds to continue my treatment.
Only my basic medical care costs 300 Euros per week, my surgeries and highest costs are still not paid, and we are not even half way of finishing the treatment, Expenses are mounting and will continue to grow. Any help or assistance is appreciated.
Funds will be used for medical bills.
