Joeys battle against cancer

Four months ago one of my best and dearest friends was diagnosed with small cell cancer of the lung, she then underwent surgery to have a piece of her lung removed. Two weeks after recovering form surgery she began chemotherapy treatment. This
Lasted over a four month period with a few set backs along the way, an appointment with her surgeon showed that they had removed all the cancer from her lung. On the 13th of June she underwent her last chemotherapy treatment, two weeks later she went back to get her final tests that would clear her of cancer but was faced with the news that the cancer had spread to her chest and brain. She was informed that this was inoperable and could only receive chemo and radiation to slow the cancer down, she was then told she only had 12 months to live.

after receiving this shocking news all her family and friends would like to see her fight this and make a full recovery, in being able to do this we would like to send her to the gawler foundation retreat for cancer patients, this will cost 6,500 dollar which is what we are trying to raise through donations and various fundraiser. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get
