Sunday, October 16th of 2016, we lost Dan to an unfortunate battle with brain cancer.
Dan was the father to two incredible boys, Sean and Christopher and a beautiful stepdaughter Lauren. Sean is in college, Christopher just turned sixteen and Lauren is 12 yrs old. He also leaves behind his loving mother and sister. This is going to have a devastating impact on their lives and also I don’t know how to do life without him.
I have been disabled for the past sixteen years and Dan took care of me and everything else. We constantly struggled financially but I would take one day of that back because we did it together. Dan held on as long as he could because he was so worried about what was going to happen to his family. Even in his time of suffering he was concerned about what was going to happen to us. I have never met such a selfless person and I never knew the meaning of sole mate until this man came into my life.
We are asking for all family, friends, acquaintances and even caring strangers to please come together to help our family who unfortunately today has been decreased by one. Unfortunately, we do not have a community support system. The funds raised will be used to assist with all services related to Dan’s passing as well as to keep the family together until government financial assistance comes through.
Thank you in advance and may God Bless You
