Bauer Family Home Fire Fund

The odds of becoming a lightning victim in the U.S. in any one year is 1 in 700,000.

On Monday, July 8th, during early morning storms in Barnesville MN, a bolt of lightning ignited the Bauer family home - and combined with nearly 50 mph winds - created a fire that tore through roof, leading to a near total loss of everything inside.

The entire family escaped unharmed, but nearly everthing in the house will be unable to salvage. From clothing, to toys and including basic needs, so much has been ravaged by fire, smoke and water.

Thanks to a community that extends well beyond the city limits of Barnesville, countless individuals who are looking to help Scott, Megan and their three young children navigating through this transition, we've created this campaign as a resource to donate.

Standing on the property watching the incredibly compassionate and thoughtful firefighters and neighbors help to save as many photos and memories they could, we know that there is a long road ahead for them to rebuild.

In addition to monetary gifts, any prayers of healing and comfort to the family - especially thier children - and the brave men and women of the fire departments of Barnesville,Sabin, Dilworth, Glyndon and Hawley Fire crews.

If you are able to donate, please consider contributing to this campaign. Any amount helps and will be greatly appreciated by the Bauer family.
