Battle for Briggate 2024

Battle for Briggate is an annual free Breakin' Jam in the heart of Leeds for children and their families. Organised by Phil Tang, BFB provides a platform for the local community to share their skills and show that Hip Hop is about more than just music and dance - it is a way of life that promotes creativity, self-expression, enjoyment and community engagement.

For over ten years, BFB has been entirely run on voluntary efforts. No person has ever been paid for their time except the children who participate, we do this through the loose donations received from the public on the day which we share with the children at the end.

I am opening this Gofundme page to see if we can help change that or at least be able to raise enough funds to help cover essential costs such as travel, food/drinks for the artists. Please join us in our efforts to support local artists, unite people and showcase the benefits of Hip Hop so it may further uplift our community.
