Brother needs a bath

My younger brother is wheelchair bound with cerebral palsy. It is very difficult for the caregivers to get him in and out of the bath. He had a chair that sits in the bath for showers, but it is failing and the transfers are not great for him or the caregivers. There is equipment available that would completely give him the freedom he needs in the bathroom and make everything safe and comfortable for everyone involved. This equipment is running close to $5,000. This equipment would fully meet his needs and provide him with the independence and dignity he deserves.
So, this is a big brother, reaching out to anyone willing and able to help, simply asking - please, help me help my little brother. He's a tremendous young man and a blessing to anyone who meets him. And he needs your help.

We are thrilled to announce we have exceeded the goal needed to purchase Chris a new bath chair. We want to thank everyone who donated, shared, prayed or supported in any way. God used each of you to bless Chris, his family and caregivers with this much needed bath chair equipment.
We were able to purchase the chair and install it in his bathroom. Now Chris has the freedom he needs to safely and comfortably shower each day. Additionally, this equipment has already been a great help to those providing him care. He and we are very grateful for your support.
Because of the abundance of support, we exceeded the goal by $1000. With the encouragement of many donors we decided to begin a second campaign to raise money for another of Chris’s needs: a mechanical lift. We have deposited the $1000 surplus into this new campaign, putting us almost one third of the way to our new goal already! The cost of the lift is $3500. For the remaining $2500, a generous donor has pledged to match dollar for dollar - up to $1250. Once we reach this goal, Chris will have his much needed lift.
