Bath Rugby League are an ambitious and progressive club. We currently have an open age squad with players ranging from age 16 to 45 and we would like to grow the structure to incorporate youth/juniors, ladies, masters, touch and other variants of the sport. We are a dynamic, caring, inclusive club and would like to give everyone in the Bath and surrounding area the opportunity to play Rugby League.
In these uncertain times, our club like many other sports clubs have lost income, without match fees, sponsorship and other funding we would normally have on match days in a regular season. We would welcome support from the Bath, wider community and local area as well as the Rugby League community that would like to help the sport thrive in Bath. Costs such as new posts, kit and ground maintenance (on and off the pitch) to name a few are priority items for us in the short term to support the long-term vision for the club. As mentioned above we are aim to grow our club to include both junior sides and a woman's team as phase one of the clubs growth plan.
We feel it would also be a fantastic opportunity to aid the club's charity partner State of Mind. State of Mind are a national charity with a focus on aiding mental health through sport. We as a club have benefited from several mental health sessions that they have kindly provided, this is an important topic to highlight awareness of and has directly impacted our club. We feel it is important to aid them in their messages, and raise the profile so people are better able 'to talk about mental health'.
With this in mind, we have agreed to split the proceeds between the club and State of Mind. We thank you in advance for your generosity to both us and others nationwide who will benefit from State of Mind.
