Thank you again for your support over the years. Our collective efforts through the years has made a huge difference in our community.
Collectively we have launched and sustained a successful Ramadan Project, we helped renovate the old Basse Central Mosque and awarded scholarships to students in need. Most recently we helped rehabilitate the Basse Highlevel Soccer Field, built an Eid praying ground and extended our main cemetery fence to protect the remains of our loved ones.
With all of the above accomplishments, you will all agree that we still have a lot of work to do. Our Basse Central Mosque is still incomplete, our Central/Main Market and Health Center needs urgent and serious work. The Basse Highlevel Soccer Field needs a fence to protect it from being used as a dumping ground.
It is with these urgencies that we are reaching out to all Basserians and Friends of Basse to help raise funds for these and other ongoing development projects in our town.
We are therefore asking all Basserians and Friends of Basse in the Diaspora to pledge $1000 each to be paid no later than December 1, 2018. Thus far fourteen of our brothers have pledged to donate $1000 by the due date and we hope you will also join us in this campaign. Our brothers and sister in The Gambia are encouraged to pledge D10,000.00 each

We all have ten months to fulfill our pledges and we encourage you to share this information with your families and friends. For those who are unable due to one reason or the other commit to the said agreed amount, you can still donate whatever amount you can afford
