Basketballs for San Diego kids

Hi Guys! In returning to San Diego, I'm excited to be back in the local basketball scene. While I love playing, some of you may know that I have also been a volunteer coach in years past as well. 

While coaching, I noticed that many of the kids on my teams didn't have a good ball to practice with. Additionally, many of the local recreation center balls were old, worn or falling apart. Sometimes the centers didn't have enough balls to provide for all the teams practicing. With tightening budgets, it can be difficult for the centers to maintain adequate equipment.

So, as a little project, I've decided to start a GoFundMe to raise money for some new basketballs for the kids playing at these centers. Any money raised will be used to buy affordable but quality indoor/outdoor basketballs to be donated to the centers.

I estimate $500 dollars will be able to provide 5 new balls to 3 different recreation centers. 

As soon as the goal is reached, I will go out and purchase the balls and make the donations, keeping you all posted on the fund page.
