Basket Brigade of Elizabeth NJ

The Basket Brigade of Elizabeth New Jersey is a local volunteer organization established in 2009 that delivers food to families going through trying times in the Thanksgiving season.  We work with local charities organization to find families that can use this kind of gift.

We were inspired through Anthony Robbins and we fulling one message "Show that strangers care".


We collect funds and purchase a traditional Thanksgiving meal including a frozen turkey, pastries and much more. We assemble, decorate and wrap the baskets with bows in a family type of environment and then deliver it anonymously.

The International Basket Brigade is built on a simple notion: one small act of generosity on the part of one caring person can transform the lives of hundreds. It takes only one light to dispel the darkness, and even just one basket or a few, to bring hope!
