Barry's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
This fundraiser is for my Mom (Cindy) and Dad (Barry) who have been through a lot over the last couple of months. 2017:  In September my Dad who for 40 years has worked as a produce manager lost his job when Gordy's in Eau Claire closed their doors. Then because Gordy's owned almost all of the stores in Eau Claire he was not able to find a job until December at a store in Augusta, which is about a half hour from Eau Claire. 2018: Now in January 2018 around new year’s Barry became very sick. It was at first thought of as just an ear infection, but turned out to be an infected abscess that was putting pressure on his brain. On January 6 he had to have urgent surgery to remove the abscess and Thanks to God and the medical team at Luther Hospital it was deemed a success. Recovery: Now after surgery he will need at least 6 weeks of rehab at a Mayo clinic in Osseo, WI so he can continue to receive antibiotics and care from the staff. In addition, he will not be able to work or drive for at least 3 to 4 months until the doctors clear him. Help: The reason for this fundraiser is to help them with the big expenses that will be coming after he is back home. On top of the other regular expenses like home, car and essentials. With my Dad being, the main source of income and my mom missing work to help take care of him until he can work again they will need some help. Donation: If you would like to help, I appreciate anything that you can give to help them so they can have a better rest of 2018 than they have had to start.  Positive comments and prayers are also appreciated. Thank You and God bless. 100% of the donations will go to Cindy and Barry Schlegelmilch reguardless of the amount raised.
