Barren Family Hurricane Fund

After 3 days of non stop rain,  we had 3 feet of water in our house and levels were still rising.  We were forced to evacuate via helicopter with nothing but the clothes on our backs, 3 backpacks and our dog, Mia.  Our neighborhood was not considered to be in a flood zone so we did not carry flood insurance like most of our neighbors.  At this time we are not allowed to enter our neighborhood.  We have been lucky enough to stay with family roughly an hour away from our home.  I am grateful we made it out safely.  Now we are faced with the daunting task of picking up the peices and rebuilding our lives.  Any little bit helps.  God Bless!
