Barnacle Bill's Last Cast Memorial

On Wednesday June 1st we lost an important man Bill Raynor left on his very last fishing trip. His two sons lost their best friend, fishing buddy and father all at once. As you can imagine losing a parent is one of the hardest things a child has to go through. Bill's love for fishing and being on the water was so big that BARNACLE BILL became a name he has carried for many years but his favoriate name was DAD. Bill had a hard and fast life and lived ever minute to his fullest never slowing down. Bill has had his battles throughout the last several years with diabites being one of his biggest battles. That fast past life had caught up to Bill towards the end and his body just couldn't keep up with Bill. Bill spent the last two weeks in the hospital fighting for his life and fighting to be that strong man he has always set out to be. Bill was showing improvement and looked like he was going make it out okay, but on May 28th Bill took a turn for the worst and his body was already so tried that bill couldn't fight anymore. He held on for a few more days and we prayed and prayed for Barnacle Bill to pull through and wake up for one last day on the water. With his family by his side Bill passed peacefully in his sleep early Wednesday morning.
Bill was the type of friend you could go days, months and even years without talking and yet when you spoke to him it was as if no time had past. Bill would cook one hell of a fish fry and was always willing to share with friends and strangers at redneck yacht club. Bill loved to be around people and in the end was around the people he cherished the most.
Long stays in hospitals and unexpected death come at high cost. With Bill leaving us way to early he wasn't 100% prepared for those expences and now his two sons will have to bare the cost. Eddie and Billy would like to send their father off the right way and are asking those who knew and loved their father to help anyway they can so they can cover cost of cermation, medical bills and other unexpected cost.
